EX3 Sr. Regulations Exams Analyst



This Senior Regulations Exams Analyst position is responsible for monitoring, data analysis, remediation, training, and achieving overall compliance standards that will meet and exceed the expectations set by state and federal regulators including, but not limited to, state Attorneys General, the United States Department of Justice, and the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The Sr. Compliance Analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Capital Markets, Service Centers, and various business domains. They will create and continuously improve processes to manage compliance obligations, assist in the assessment and mitigation of risk, and ensure AHFC's continued adherence to consumer compliance laws, regulations, and standards


Key Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to

• 
  
• Act as point of contact for all State Examinations and AHM Audits. This includes collaboration with the Legal Department, Service Center and Business Domains in order to collect all information requested, prepare documentation and written responses for submission to regulators.
  
• Consistently maintain cutting edge knowledge of potential legal and regulatory changes that affect AHFC's business environment
  
• Consistently maintain overall knowledge of business operations as well as develop specific subject matter expertise and apply both by implementing recommendations that reduce and eliminate enterprise and idiosyncratic risk for AHFC business operations.
  
• Actively engage tools and resources to monitor, analyze, research, investigate, communicate, and remediate issues concerning the prioritization of AHFC compliance risk.
  
• Satisfy special assignments as requested by management to identify, understand, or resolve issues including those related to UDAAP.
  
  
  
  Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  Who are we seeking:
  
  
  
  * Bachelors degree or (7) years of experience in related field with five (5) of those years working directly with audit and examinations
  
  * Minimum seven (7) years finance industry experience, regulatory, legal, or compliance experience
  
  * Project planning and project management experience a plus
  
  * Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
  * Superior oral and written communication skills
  
  * Strong legal research and legal analytical skills
  
  * Attention to detail
  
  * Experience working with legal counsel
  
  * Proficient in MS Windows (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  
  
  
  Additional Position Factors:
  
  * Workstyle: Hybrid (Remote 1 days in office required)
  
  * Travel 5%
  
  
  
  Grade Level Salary Base: $81,800 to $122,700
  
  Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
