American Honda Finance Corporation (dba Honda Financial Services and Acura Financial Services), a wholly owned subsidiary of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., helps to satisfy the financing needs of consumers of Honda and Acura vehicles, Honda and Acura accessories, as well as Honda motorcycles, power equipment, and marine products. AHFC offers financing in the form of both retail installment sales contracts and leases, depending on the product and the needs of the customer.
The Regulatory Analyst:
American Honda Finance is seeking a Compliance Regulatory Analyst. -The Regulatory Analyst is responsible for evaluation of the highest risk federal and state laws with focus on credit bureau reporting (FCRA), lending to military members in Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and preventing lending relationships with terrorists and drug traffickers under OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control). The Regulatory Analyst will analyze law and implement policies from legal and regulatory entities with a focus on the US Department of Justice and the Federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Responsibilities include but not limited to

• - - - - -Analysis of significant federal and state consumer finance laws
  
• - - - - -Identifying and eliminating potential risk issues including those related to all state and federal laws including
  
• - - - - Developing business process analysis and policies and procedures concerning credit reporting
  
• - - - - -Monitor, analyze, research, investigate, communicate, and remediate concerning the appropriate prioritization of AHFC compliance risk related to credit reporting
  Who are we seeking:

  • - - - - -Bachelor's degree in business, Management, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
    
  • - - - - -Minimum five (5) years finance industry experience, regulatory, legal, or compliance experience
