About this Position:
Managing the pricing for global supply of $300M gross revenue in
mass production parts. This position supports the CKD or "Complete
Knock Down" group. CKD is the business of supplying production
parts from many sources for production/assembly of the complete
unit and coordinates the supply of production parts from North
American to Honda CBU factories for the global mass production of
Honda/Acura products, (supply chain) new model planning to parts
delivery to Honda overseas factories. Efficient supply chain
management of distribution, calculating parts pricing, responsible
for auditing of the documentation for compliance with US and
international trade regulations and SOX requirements and the
implementation of new export compliance regulations globally. Heavy
analysis of sales trends, Global Order Plan (Seihan), variance
analysis of sales, shipments, pricing, profit and loss statements,
unrecovered costs and sales impact, and budgets. Requires knowledge
of financial accounts (accounts payable, A/P, A/R, parts supply
operations and sales work to improve / enhance operations in CKD
business and Honda overall.
Responsibilities include:
* Formulating Parts pricing quotations (mass production, event,
cost evaluation) with logic.
* Variance analysis and reporting (Finance, pricing, Export
results, forecast).
* Balancing Profit and Loss (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable,
Profit Margin).
* Analyze revenue between Press Release Budget (PRB) vs actual and
forecast (short and long term) and calculate and suggest
recommendations for forecast.
* Auditing of the documentation for compliance with US and
international trade regulations and SOX requirements and the
implementation of new export compliance regulations globally.
* Focused on innovation and synthesize data for greater
efficiency.
* Executive management reporting and team lead for global cross
organizational projects, leading system design initiatives.
* Lead the Monthly CKD Ki Plan (Order Plan) review mtgs with
plants.
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years in import and/or export business
* Experience with parts supply chain management
* AP/AR analysis experience
* Understanding of and experience with parts pricing structure
* Familiarity with US Export regulations and SOX requirements
* Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Required Education:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
Desired skills:
* Ability to manage accounts (AP/AR) in SAP for internal AHM, North
America Honda companies, and overseas customers, including
reporting in SAP
* Strong communication skills
* Advanced excel and query skills
* Excellent planning, analytical and presentation skills
* Leadership/training skills
