Control Inspection support for Honeywell [insert business group or
function] while partnering with manufacturing teams and leaders.
You will ensure that quality in being maintained in all factors
involved in production. Responsible for all activities involving
quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory
requirements. Perform product inspection and/or audits of quality
control programs.All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA
safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a
pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine,
Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA),
Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine,
oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA
regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in
safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell
Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan. Key Responsibilities
- The Quality Engineering Technical Lead is proficient in FAR Part
145 and Part 43 (FAA and EASA) - Must have experience or knowledge
with 145 regulations and repair station's rating, Operations
Specification, Authorized Capabilities List, Repair Station Manual,
Training Program, and all aspects of the Quality Control Manual -
Maintains current technical data when performing maintenance
Airworthiness directives, instructions for continued airworthiness,
maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, standard practice manuals,
and other data acceptable or approved by the FAA - Seeks FAA
approval for FAA controlled documents - Seeks EASA license
re-certification every 2 years - Maintains GASL by submitting
surveys to suppliers - Responds to customer surveys for
certification / re-certification of the repair station - Responds
to customers' requests for documentation - Collects and analyzes
data to create quality improvement plans to eliminate escapes -
Perform review of contractual documents and customer requirements
to assure compliance - Coordinate project activities and systemic
problem resolution - Collect and manage data and provide reports to
management - Available 24/7 for FAA escalations as required -
Support customer interactions as necessaryYou Must Have: -
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical discipline - 8+ years
of applicable repair station (repairman) or quality engineering
experience, may be considered as degree requirementsWe Value: -
Greenbelt/Blackbelt/Lean Certification or ability to achieve within
12 months - Proficiency with AS9100, FAR Part 21 is preferred -
Proven problem-solving skills, including Cause Chain Analysis
skills, RCC Adept in soliciting facts and opinions from all team
members, and creating a constructive and open environment for
sharing data - Ability to identify and mitigate risk to achieve
positive outcomes - Capable of taking action that accomplishes
step-function improvement and utilizes all global resources and
capabilities to improve company performance - Effective
interpersonal skills to interface within and between organizations
and customers (Government, Military and Commercial aviation) -
Capable of working across the Aerospace organization
collaboratively to establish a MOR process that continually drives
