Job Description:

Specific skills:
Use of Laboratory Information Management Software,
Additional Software: Microsoft Office

Hands on Skills (at least one): sampling chemical tanks, Titrations, sample preparation (preparing solutions), pH analysis, hardness testing, mechanical testing at room temperature, sample polishing, microscopic analysis

Preferred knowledge:
Quality system (IS9000 or AS9100), working in a NADCAP accredited laboratory

Equipment use:
Laboratory equipment such as, pH meters, conductivity meters, hardness testers, band saw, circular saw, polishing wheels, optical microscopes.
Desired but not required: Ion Chromatograph, Inductive Coupled Plasma, FTIR.

This position provides hands-on laboratory analysis and documentation support for Honeywell Aerospace. We're looking for a person who handles change with a positive attitude, can juggle multiple competing priorities to reach goals, can work in a team environment to achieve team goals, can be flexible with work schedules and hours, and willing to accept any materials lab needs with diligence and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:
--- Frequent communication with colleagues, customers and lab management
--- Routine sample preparation, evaluation and reporting of samples
--- Photographic documentation and technical reporting in a logical manner
--- Recording and reporting of analysis results using Honeywell web-based LIMS software
--- Routine maintenance of laboratory analytical instrumentation and metallographic preparation equipment

You Must Have:
--- High School diploma or GED; preference given to advanced education in science or occupational training in chemistry or materials laboratory activity
--- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to export restrictions

ALL OT MUST BE PRE APPROVED BY HONEYWELL SUPERVISOR BEFORE ANY OT HOURS ARE ACCRUED BY EMPLOYEE

Start date will be moved up as needed in order for selected candidate to start once on-boarding is completed/clear and final clearance is obtained. Be sure candidate is available to start right away once on-boarding is complete.

"The minimum level of education required for ISC assignments is High School diploma/GED. Suppliers should obtain a copy of the candidate's highest level of education (HSD/GED or degree) to avoid delays in on boarding"

Worker will utilize eshop or TWB for weekly time reporting. Supplier should register in Fieldglass on behalf of worker as he/she will not need access to this system. It is imperative that the registration is completed as soon as possible after receipt of registration invitation. Honeywell manager is responsible for training worker to utilize TWB system.

Honeywell manager will select candidate based upon review of resume and interviews

All US, ISC, touch labor roles are eligible - Subco Bonus Program to 3k, and a change in the pay-out structure:
---$1k at 14 days w/perfect attendance;
---$1k at 60 days
---$1k at 90 days
** to get 60 and 90 day bonus; worker must have received 14 day bonus.
