Prepares patients for examination and assists other optical professionals in providing treatment to the eyes.What do Back Office Technicians do?Correctly summarizes and documents what the physician during an examination.Charts the examination documenting additions to the chief complaint, assessment and recommendations for treatment.Collect and document the patient's chief complaint.Verify the patient's ocular, medical, and medications health historyWhat Skills do Back Office Technician Need? (Training Provided_Basic Visual Acuity (VA) assessment.Intraocular pressure (IOP) test with a Tonopen unit.Topical ophthalmic and dilation medications.TFundus photos.Visual Field (VF) test.Flourescein Angiogram (FA) procedure.Indocyanine Green Angiography (ICG) procedure.Refraction.RequiredHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent.At least one (1) year of medical experience.Preferred:COA or COTExperience in the Ophthalmic or Optometric Industry.Acuity Eye Group is one of the largest and vertically aligned comprehensive eye care groups in the country.
