Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Access Advocate I.
Key Responsibilities
Perform primary registration of patient accounts and ensure
accurate demographic and insurance information
Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients with
insurance benefits and financial concerns
Maintain compliance with Medicare guidelines and document actions
taken for effective follow-up
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
6 months of experience in a healthcare setting or 1 year of
customer service experience
Ability to pass the Patient Access Academy with a score of 85% or
higher within 6 months of start
Preferred certifications include CHAA, CHAM, or equivalent
Basic understanding of insurance, medical terminology, and
Microsoft Office products
