About this Position:
As the Enterprise Social Media Sr. Strategist, you will be
responsible for helping to develop and implement a comprehensive
social media governance strategy for the complex organization. Your
role will involve ensuring that the company's US social media
activities align with its overall goals, values, and industry
regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to
establish best practices and guidelines for social media use
throughout the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- - - - - - - Help to design and implement a tiered strategy to
support the social media marketing needs of 17+ Honda
departments
- - - - - - - Collaborate closely with departments with
significant social media needs to support their goals across
strategy, content development, analytics -
- - - - - - - Develop enterprise-wide strategies to ensure all
content is in line with established Honda and Acura voices and
designed to hit benchmarks
- - - - - - - Serve as a point of contact for any internal groups
interested in social media matters, as well as assisting with the
review of strategic visions for all content calendars
created
- - - - - - - Develop ongoing standard operating practices to
safeguard and evolve the enterprise-wide social landscape to manage
risks, ensure compliance, and strengthen the company's holistic
reputation
- - - - - - - Support the Assistant Manager in creating an
enterprise-wide social media council of cross-functional employees
to oversee and advance processes, protocols, and security
- - - - - - - Collaborate with legal and compliance departments
to ensure adherence to relevant data privacy laws, intellectual
property rights, and industry regulations
- - - - - - - Identify vendors and tools to support risk
mitigation practices as needed
- - - - - - - Support executive staff to build and manage their
social media presence -
- - - - - - - Manage ongoing optimizations to ensure content and
strategy encourage productive two-way communications with
consumers
- - - - - - - Act as an educational resource on social media
practices for associates at all levels of the organizationWho we

We are looking for qualified people and diverse backgrounds and

-Required Work Experience:
- - - - - - - - 5 years of experience in communications,
marketing, social media management
- - - - - - - - In-depth knowledge of social media platforms
(specifically, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook) their
functionalities, and best practices -
- - - - - - - - 1 year experience working with large
companies
-Required Education:
- - - - - - - BA / BS in marketing, communications, or related
work experience
Desired skills:
- - - - - - - Excellent communication skills with the ability to
effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels
of the organization
- - - - - - - Effectively communicate and interact with busy
executives, specifically: managing communication on their behalf,
anticipating executive needs, and maintaining professionalism under
pressure
- - - - - - - Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to
identify potential risks or issues within social media
activities
- - - - - - - Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies
and industry trends
- - - - - - - Strong project management skills with the ability
to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
- - - - - - - Professional certifications in social media
management, governance, or related fields are a plus
