    Position Summary:
    The Internal Communications Specialist supports the NA Internal Comms Unit Lead in the development and execution of executive communications including live and virtual events, creates content for internal communications channels that inform associates of the company's business direction, manages internal communication tools and platforms, and serves as a liaison to IT, Studio 540 and other internal customers.
    
    - Develop strategic communications for an internal audience
    - Supports the development and execution of time-sensitive and high-visibility communications, including executive communications, 2030 Vision, HR content, risk management updates, etc.
    - Supports content publishing across all internal channels, including intranet, mobile app, and digital displays
    - Develops and executes regional communication plans to support business unit requests
    - Support NA Internal Comms Leader in the development and execution of virtual and live events.
    - Develop and maintain workflow schedules and timelines to ensure on-time deliverables from script writers and the video team.
    - Develop event invitations and follow-up communications, including post-event surveys and reports.
    - Coordinate with IT and video production studio to prepare broadcast/webcasts and to minimize risks of technical issues.
    
    - Manage Communications Tools and Platforms
    - Support the development and distribution of Honda Mails, interfacing with business units that need Honda Mail communications support.
    - Support execution of annual associate communications survey; coordinate implementation with plant communicators; tabulate, analyze, and share results.
    - Support Video Production
    - Provide administrative and logistics support in scheduling video shoots
    Create video captioning and SRT files as needed.
    
    Minimum Educational Requirements
    Bachelor's degree or greater in Communications, PR, Journalism, or a related field.
    
    Minimum Experience
    Minimum 5 years of Corporate Communications or PR agency experience
    Experience managing a company intranet.
    Excellent writing skills with a strong proficiency in feature writing
    Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and Excel
    Ability to manage multifaceted communications projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
    Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
    
    Knowledge of web-based communications strategies and tools
