Job Description:

We are partnered with a premier freight and supply chain management company who is seeking a Jr. Desktop Support Specialist who will respond to technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups and implement solutions to technical issues.

This is a 100% onsite, direct hire position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or in person
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Provide accurate information on IT products or services
Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
Follow-up and update customer status and information
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customer to the appropriate internal team
Identify and suggest possible improvement on procedures
Windows troubleshooting

Qualifications:
1-2 years in technology position - help desk, desktop support, etc.
Solid understanding of Active Directory
Understanding of basic network concepts
Certifications desired: A+, Network+, Security+, or Windows certifications
