Our work supports clients on the cutting-edge of autonomous vehicles, electrification, and connected cities.Candidate MUST HAVE Automotive Chassis Project Management ExperienceResponsibilities include:Prioritize both individual and team workloadDocument and share Lessons Learned, knowledge and best practicesMaintenance of Integrated Work plan consisting of all product, system, and component level information. Identify and manage issues, risks, and process improvement opportunities and required corrective action.Lead preparation of project status reports and presentations to senior management through collection of Key Performance Indicators and Milestone deliverable status with recommended actions for issue mitigationEscalate potential program timing risks, including impact to the program, evaluating feasibility of resolution plans, and implementing defined recovery solutions.Definition of new technology system requirements, design specifications, supplier work agreements and testing specifications through to product launchDevelopment of project and product objectives documentation to Program Approval facilitating engineering development reviews, supplier assessments, customer requirements and incorporating management targetsDefinition of project team responsibilities by project phases and work packageManagement of system integration and software interface where necessary, focusing on timely engineering release and issue resolutionManagement of end item Bill of Material for delivery into system builds, highlighting deviations from product specification and working with team to resolve any impacts to product validationMaintenance of Integrated Work plan consisting of all product, system, and component level information. Escalation potential program timing risks, including impact to the program, evaluating feasibility of resolution plans, and implementing defined recovery solutionsMonitoring of program cost activity with Finance department to control budget. Where necessary work with the product engineers to define and implement cost reduction actions to achieve an in budget resultLead preparation of project status reports and presentations to senior management through collection of Key Performance Indicators and Milestone deliverable status with recommended actions for issue mitigationKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Greater than six years' experience in a Project/Program Management professional services role. Must have experience completing engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.Demonstrated capability to understand, communicate and manage client/engineer needs and expectations.Experience in monitoring the engineering department, developing projects and developing engineering Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).Must have excellent understanding of PM principles and methodologies, be proficient with PM tools and be an expert in at least one enterprise PM software tool (MS Project, SharePoint, Project Server, Portfolio Management).Strong focus on delivering quality services:Control Scope.Effectively manage resources.Deliver value to clients/engineers.Anticipate and recognize problems, assess alternatives and recommend solutions.Strong ability to foster business relationships, partnering with clients to develop creative solutions and recommendations.Demonstrated experience with Process Re-Engineering, introducing and implementing efficiencies, and an ability to manage complex projects and programs and drive them to successful completion.Strong presentation and communication skills are required, both written and verbal.Selected candidate must be willing and able to travel, depending on business requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field and 4 years of experience in chassis manufacturing; Or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence and data-driven decision making. Works well on projects on their own as well as with a team, able to clearly communicate ideas.Self-driven with a concentration on execution.
