Job Description:

We are looking for the right person with experience to work in a busy optometry office. Must have good communication skills and be able to help customers with retail frame selection, seg height measurements for bifocals and progressives, PD measurements, knowledgeable with lens types and materials and be able to make recommendations on materials, tints, coatings, etc. Dispensing of eyewear, frame adjustments and repair. Bench work edging knowledge helpful but not necessary. Must be comfortable using a computer for patient database management, insurance verification, processing and tracking inventory, submitting patient vision insurance claims, data entry, and scanning forms. Must be attentive to detail, accurate and able to work under pressure. Knowledge and experience with contact lenses, training insertion and removal and ordering from vendors. This is a full time position with health and retirement benefits.
