Job Description Job Description Job Title: Production Worker Job Description We are seeking dedicated Production Workers to join our team in operating and maintaining packaging machinery. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, handling machinery setup, and managing product quality. All other positions are below: Night Machine Operator: M-Th: 4pm - 4am. $18.85 Day Machine Operator: M: 6am - 4pm & Tu-Th: 4am - 4pm $18 Night Case Erector: M-We: 4pm - 1:15am $17.85 Weekend Machine Operator: F/Sa/Su: 6am - 7:30pm $19.05 Night Sanitor: Sun-Wed: 8pm - 6:30am $19.85 Weekend Forklift Drivers: F/Sa/Su: 6am - 7:30pm $20.05 Day Forklift Driver: M: 6am - 4pm & Tu-Th: 4am - 4pm $19 Night Forklift: M-Th: 4pm - 4am $19.85 Responsibilities Operate and monitor packaging machinery, including auto packagers, cutters, and fillers. Set up machinery by adjusting hoses, blades, and adding new film and rolls. Input orders and runs into the computer system. Manage and resolve machinery jams and unclogs. Inspect products for defects to ensure quality standards. Connect hoses to tankers and fillers. Climb ladders to reach the top of machinery and ensure proper function. Comfortably work at heights when required. Essential Skills 1 year of GMP Experience. 1 year of Packaging Experience. 1 year of Manufacturing Experience. Ability to lift 40 lbs. individually. Comfortable climbing ladders and working on mezzanines above machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual skills are a plus. Experience with blending and batch mixing is beneficial. Work Environment Work in a very clean and temperature-controlled facility equipped with packaging machinery, kettles, and tanks for mixing. Although it may be warmer around cooking machinery, the facility maintains high cleanliness standards. Employees are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, no jewelry, work pants, and non-slip boots as it is a GMP environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.05/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
