Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Product and
Privacy.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary legal advisor for product and engineering
teams, ensuring compliance throughout the product development
lifecycle
Implement and maintain open source policies and provide guidance on
data privacy impact and AI risk assessments
Lead compliance efforts with global privacy and data security laws
and support go-to-market launches for product offerings
Required Qualifications
JD from a top law school; member of at least one state bar in good
standing
Minimum of 8 years of active legal practice, with at least 6 years
in an in-house product counseling role focused on privacy
Strong technical background with experience advising on privacy and
product-related regulatory matters
In-house experience with a global technology or telecommunications
company is preferred
Understanding of software engineering practices and concepts is
desired
