Advanced software engineer leads activities to develop, document
and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces
and designs for software test systems. They will also lead the
development of code and integration of software components and test
equipment into a fully functional test stand system using NI
LabVIEW on NI PXI, and cRIO platforms. They will develop integrated
test solutions, including industrial facility controls and data
acquisition.Key Responsibilities:
- Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test
environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test
results to ensure software system requirements are met.
- Lead Test software development projects and co-ordinate
software supplier management activities.
- Leads development, selection, tailoring and deployment of
processes, tools and metrics.
- Provide technical guidance of Test software domains,
system-specific issues, processes and regulations.This position
will require you to work on-site at our Torrance, CA location.The
annual base salary range for this position is $151,000 - $227,000.
Please note that this salary information serves as a general

Must Have:
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an
accredited course of study, in Electrical/Electronics Engineering,
Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science,
Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree
- Experience in leading technical design and architecture for
product development. Lead & drive technical proposals, creating
technical documents and developing software requirements. 3+ years
of experience designing and developing software with NI platforms
and tools.
- 2+ years' experience developing closed loop control
systems
- 4+ years' experience with programming languages such as NI
LabVIEW, Simulink, Matlab, C, C++
- U.S. Citizenship required due to contractual requirementsWe

development, software design, architectural elements.
- Demonstrated experience in progressively challenging and
responsible roles.
- Experience in certification requirements and software
versioning control is desired. Experience with hardware/software
integration.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle,
Software testing life cycle (SDLC, STLC) including software for
integrated test systems
