About this Position:
Deliver technical training to Honda and Acura automobiles
dealership service personnel through assigned training center and
in-dealer training while promoting Lifetime Owner Loyalty. Maintain
equipment, vehicles, and facility to high standards. Training and
maintenance must be in alignment with all Honda, State, and Federal
standards, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory
mandates. As a training expert, analyze training needs of
districts, dealers, and technicians and make appropriate
recommendations. - Interact, support and develop direct report
instructors and admins.
Responsibilities include:
- - - - - - - Training Delivery - deliver technical training to
dealer service personnel through assigned training center and
in-dealer training by the following:
- - - - - - - Ensure Dealer Repair Certifications are met monthly
and fiscal year to date.
- - - - - - - Ensure Dealer Diagnostic Certifications are met on
a monthly basis and fiscal year to date.
- - - - - - - Ensure Individual Repair Certifications are met on
a monthly basis and fiscal year to date .
- - - - - - - Ensure Individual Diagnostic Certifications are met
on a monthly basis and fiscal year to date.
- - - - - - - Training Schedule and Enrollments
- - - - - - - Provide a quarterly schedule every 3 months for the
next quarter to show how many seats are available
- - - - - - - Make sure we are getting the correct Technicians
into our training center, being provided a target list of
Technicians and working with the field to make sure those
enrollments are filled to 100% capacity and providing a waitlist as
a backup to maintain that 100% capacity.
- - - - - - - Curriculum Development Activity (CART)
- - - - - - - Help develop curriculum with Technical Training
Development team
- - - - - - - Make sure any issues with the curriculum is
reported to upper management to be corrected by TTD
- - - - - - - As a training expert, analyze training needs of
districts, dealers, and technicians and make appropriate
recommendations.
- - - - - - - Support TTD with curriculum creation and
review
- - - - - - - Training Center Readiness and Management
- - - - - - - Make sure all the vehicles are bugged and ready for
the technicians to diagnose the vehicles.
- - - - - - - Make sure all of the necessary tools are available
and ready for each day for Technicians to use
- - - - - - - Maintain vehicles and equipment.
- - - - - - - Make sure all of the vehicle's registrations are up
to date and current
- - - - - - - Make sure all recalls are performed in a timely
manner
- - - - - - - Support training center staff (1 Administrator & 1
or 2 training center instructors)
- - - - - - - Office supply inventory checking and
ordering.
- - - - - - - Classroom setup and organizing
- - - - - - - Communications with Dealer's Honda/Acura

instructor

- - - - - - - BA / BS automotive, industrial, education,
business
- - - - - - - AA automotive, industrial, business, education
Desired skills:
- - - - - - - Microsoft office applications
- - - - - - - Presentation skills
