paced and professional work atmosphere As a Principal Software
Engineer in COE - Electrification, you will lead development of
embedded software for Garret's e-boosting applications. A strong
and wide knowledge of automotive embedded software is required for
this job. It includes AUTOSAR, MCAL, powertrain communication
network and general application layer. And a good automotive
software development experience under the formal process and
standard such as ASPICE and ISO26262 is essential for this job to
lead the development and help junior engineers. Excellent
communication and documentation skills are required since the
Principal Software Engineer will work with multiple teams in US and
Europe. Impact Statements & Responsibilities Innovation: o Design
innovative software solutions interacting with all Garrett product
lines. o Participate to deploy the model-based design environment
in Garrett, develop new models and porting the software C-code into
model-based. o Support to benchmark new -C Project: o Develop
software in respect to timing, Customer requirements and the
development processes ASPICE, ISO 26262. o Closely working with
controls & systems engineers for embedded software implementation &
testing Support: o Collaborate with engineering teams to understand
the expectations of the product and support to design a software to
reach this target o Collaborate with the Software Validation team
to reach to expected software maturity level. Capitalization: o
Develop standards and methodologies of software development, based
on the state of the art in the field. o Perform Software technical
reviews on ongoing projects within different product lines
Coaching: provide training and coaching actions on software
architecture within Garrett group. Qualifications: - Bachelor of
Science in Electrical Engineering or related field - +10 years'
experience in automotive powertrain software development -
Experience in embedded software design for multi-core
microcontroller - Experience in software integration and/or release
in production level - Experience in Automotive Safety Standard ISO
26262. - Experience in Model based design. - Knowledge in the
Software testing: Static, Unit, Integration, SIL, HIL - Familiar
with software development tools - Experience with debugging tools
such as Trace32 Lauterbach - Experience in CAN communication test
with cyber security feature - Experience with XCP based tools such
as INCA or CANape - Familiar with GIT repositories and change
management tools - Fluent communication & documentation skills -
Able to work in a dynamic and multi-culture environment with
minimum supervisionWe Value: - AUTOSAR configuration - Model-Based
design approach - Knowledge in microprocessor for powertrain
application with certain safety level - MCAL/HWIO implementation -
Embedded software programming skill with C - Knowledge and
experience on AUTOSAR tools, UDS, OBD II and MCAL configuration
