employees, and humanity.The Sr. Human Resources Manager will
design, implement, and support talent strategies and programs for
Commercial client groups with significant complexity, to enhance
the effectiveness of managers and the effective acquisition,
performance management, development and movement of talent. In
doing so, they will lead and oversee strategic client and/or
company projects (which may span globally) and drive execution and
implementation of these strategies.The Sr. HR Manager will optimize
relationships of associates, managers and operating company
leadership; linking human resources strategies to strategic
objectives: counseling and advising management on a variety of
topics related to talent including design and implementation of
training, performance management, and organizational design
programs maintaining compliance with all labor laws.Advises with
leaders on talent management and organizational design challenges.
Anticipates challenges and recommends innovative organizational
solutions for complex problems. Assists in preparation for talent
review and leads talent review sessions further into the client
organizationsDrives innovation and improvement in human resources
as well as in the client groupDelivers organizational change
consultation to clientsDrives and manages workforce planning and
headcount management to align strategies with business
prioritiesProvides consultation and training on engagement &
retention of associates. Drives and manages performance management
processes; leading performance calibration annually, coaching
leaders on tough conversations, co-creating performance improvement
plans and development plans, and ensuring leaders are following
through with the annual process. Assists leaders and teams with
defining and developing engagement action planning.Advises with
clients on internal movement decisions; transfers, promotions, job
enhancements and ensures decisions are in line with talent and
skill gaps, development plans and career pathing. Ensures that all
movement aligns with company leveling guides and policy. Partners
with client group to effectively acquire professional, management
and leadership level talent for assigned client group. Develops
detailed onboarding plans for new leaders.Conduct Employee
Relations investigations and advise with managers and ER counsel on
outcomes and next steps.Reports monthly metrics to HR leadership
and drives to ensure that countermeasures are in place when not
hitting targets. Uses data to coach clients and drive correct
behaviors.May cofacilitate training and development
programsQualifications BA in Human Resources or related field with
14 years of HR experience or MA in Human Resources or related field
with 7 years of related experienceSolid, sophisticated, and
demonstrated skills in: advising, contracting, mediating,
negotiating, coaching, business acumen, influencing, and project
managementExperience in compensation, recruiting, employee
relations, organizational development is preferred (ideal mix 2 or
more areas)Thorough and deep knowledge of the employee life
cycleExperience leading or contributing to medium to large scale
re-orgs, org alignment, workforce planning effortsSuccessful
experience managing complex, cross-functional, global initiatives,
processes, or projectsExperienced with working, advising, and
influencing high level leadership and managementExperience working
across a global HR and client organization and influencing across,
upward and downward.Working knowledge of employment law including
Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, OSHA and Workers CompensationSPHR
