Job Description Job Description SUMMARY: Medical Technologist follows procedures, performs & documents chemical, microscopic, morphologic, immunologic, bacteriologic tests. Obtains accurate results within procedure limitations with a turnaround time as stated in the procedure manual. Follows Policy and Procedural guidelines for the communication of critical test results including the timeliness and documentation. Discovers & corrects problems in a timely manner. REQUIREMENTS: o Minimum Experience: One (1) year experience as a Clinical Lab Generalist with Blood Bank Experience preferred. o Required License/ Certificates: Current CA CLS License required and MAB certificate required (90 days upon hire) Benefits: Medical, dental and vision coverage is provided for all full time and part time employees* Medical is 100% employer paid including dependents* Basic Life and AD&D 401k plan with company match Generous PTO plan* Pet Insurance Discount Program* Employee Discount Program* *per diem staff ineligible
