Nursing License Required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have:
Experience in CTICU Floating required to PICU and NICU Familiarity
with EPIC documentation system Description: Responsible for
providing advanced nursing care to pediatric cardiac surgical and
medical patients. Must be able to manage complex clinical
situations involving hemodynamic monitoring and treatment
protocols. Duties include but are not limited to monitoring vital
signs, administering medications, and managing IVs. Experience with
ECMO, post-cardiac surgery care, and continuous renal replacement
therapy (CRRT) is preferred. Must be proficient in interpretation
of dysrhythmias and management of ventilated patients. Expected to
float to PICU and NICU as needed based on unit census. Weekend
shifts are required as part of the regular schedule. Patient ratios
are maintained at 2 patients per nurse during day and night shifts.
The unit cares for neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric
patients with various cardiac conditions. Interdisciplinary support
is available from various healthcare specialists to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Familiarity with patient care protocols
for congenital heart diseases and arrhythmias is essential. Should
have strong infection control practices and ability to participate
in patient assessments. Candidates must adhere to all hospital
policies and procedures during their tenure. Requirements Required
