Join the team at Sports Physical Therapy (SPT) as a Physical Therapist Assistant where you will play a critical role in helping athletes recover from injuries and enhancing their performance. Collaborate with experienced physical therapists to deliver hands-on assistance in rehabilitation and execute tailored wellness programs. This dynamic role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with professional athletes and sports enthusiasts, leveraging cutting-edge therapy techniques in a supportive and energizing environment. Assist physical therapists in developing treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Implement portions of patient treatment, including exercises, therapies, and modalities as directed by the therapist. Monitor patient responses to treatment and report outcomes to the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and family members on treatments and home exercises. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Ensure all treatments comply with professional standards and safety regulations. Proficiency in applying therapeutic techniques and modalities Ability to follow physical therapist directives accurately Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of sports-related injuries and treatments Competency in using physical therapy equipment and tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant CPR certified Additional certification in sports therapy is a plus
