Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
on-site Occupational Therapist role is available supporting an
elementary school setting in Wilmington, DE. This contract position
runs through the current school year, ending June 12, 2026, with a
schedule from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday. The
therapist will provide specialized support to Early Years and
elementary students within the school district. Key
responsibilities include: Delivering comprehensive school-based
occupational therapy services tailored to students developmental
and functional needs. Collaborating with educators and families to
create individualized intervention plans. Conducting assessments
and developing strategies to promote student participation and
success in the classroom environment. Utilizing best practices in
pediatric OT to support sensory, motor, and fine motor skills
development. Maintaining timely documentation in accordance with
school district policies. Preferred qualifications: Active Delaware
Occupational Therapy license is required (licensure verification
must be provided). Demonstrated experience working as a
school-based OT, preferably with early childhood and
elementary-aged populations. Strong communication and collaboration
skills for working alongside educators, families, and
multidisciplinary teams. Reliable transportation and ability to
work on-site full time. Availability to complete required
fingerprinting within the first three days of contract
commencement. This role offers the chance to positively impact
students educational experiences through targeted occupational
therapy interventions within a supportive school environment.
Interview sessions will be conducted via Microsoft Teams and last
approximately 1530 minutes. Interested candidates who meet the
