Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Home Health - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in LA County, CA, requiring current CA RN license, Oasis, and HomeCare HomeBase proficiency. Responsibilities - Work in a home health setting caring for patients in LA South County and nearby areas - Full-time day shift schedule, five 8-hour shifts per week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - One-on-one patient assignments with up to six patient visits per day - Thirty productivity points per day are standard - No on-call requirements - Required to work one weekend shift during the contract - No floating between units required - HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) is the charting system used - Responsible for home health visits, assessing and managing patient care, and completing required documentation in HCHB - Personal transportation is required, and mileage is reimbursed according to IRS standards - Schedules are managed to minimize drive time, but occasional travel within a 50 mile radius may be needed - No standard scrub color required - Locals within a 50-mile radius are accepted at the same rate - Travel pairs are accepted but each traveler will be assigned their own territory - First-time travelers are not eligible for this role - Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application Requirements - Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration - Minimum of 1 year of skilled home health RN experience - Current BCLS certification required - Oasis experience required for start of care visits - Proficiency with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) required - Timely communication and documentation skills required - Valid driver’s license and personal transportation required - Completion of Hospice/Home Health Checklist required - Former permanent employees must be separated at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615535.
