Job Description:
Permanent Position: Neonatologist in Torrance, CA Join a
dedicated team at a well-established 32-bed Level III community
NICU at a hospital in beautiful Torrance, California. This facility
offers excellent pediatric subspecialty support along with a
supportive work/life balanced schedule, all nestled in the scenic
South Bay region of Los Angeles County. Job Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality clinical care in a 32-bed community Level III
NICU with an average daily census of 12 newborns. Collaborate with
pediatric subspecialty teams, including surgery, cardiology,
gastroenterology (GI), and ENT, to manage complex neonatal cases.
Participate in the newborn service, including direct patient care
and family counseling. Support the hospital s designation as a
California Children's Services (CCS) facility and contribute to
quality improvement initiatives. Work within a collegial team
environment fostering a positive work/life balance. Engage with
hospital staff and administration to maintain and improve neonatal
care standards. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring
residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be
required. Not accepting Locums candidates. Providers currently in
fellowship are not eligible. Not accepting visa candidates.
Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in
Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (required). California Medical License
or ability to obtain (required). Experience post-fellowship
(required). Clean malpractice and medical license history (highly
preferred). Willingness to provide 24/7 in-house coverage
(required). Residency in the area or willingness to relocate
(required). DEA must be obtained prior to the start (required).
License and Certification Requirements: Board Certified (BC) or
Board Eligible (BE) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. California
