Job Description:
LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel
nursing job in Torrance, California. Job Description &
Requirements
Ability to arrange for referrals and consultations on short
notice
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet function
as a team
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Ability to work overtime when necessary and provide back up support
in times of absences, vacations, etc.
Current State of California Nursing license, current BLS and ACLS
from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PC proficiency in a Windows environment and Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Internet, E-mail
Knowledge in the use of EMR.
Ability to travel between the endoscopy area/GI lab when
necessary.
Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of care specific to endoscopy
area/GI Laboratory, including conscious sedation. Knowledge of
cardiac monitoring and ability to identify dysrhythmias.
Demonstrate an ability to assist physicians in performing
procedures in the endoscopy area/GI Laboratory practicing medical
and surgical asepsis at all times.
Self motivated with providing the best patient healthcare and
patient privacy as the main priorities.
Knowledgeable in pharmacology/drug interactions/side effects
