Momentum PTN -is hiring a Occupational -Therapist -for our
Torrance and Long Beach clinics. As a Occupational Therapist, you
will provide high quality, compassionate, and professional services
to children and their families. Our Occupational Therapist have the

Responsibilities: - -
- Promotes a friendly, comfortable, and safe environment -
- Respects and promotes the right of individuals -
- Communicate and develops effective communication with staff,
parents, teachers and community partners
- Develops personal professional annual goals related to OT
- Track upcoming reports due based on the funder, (e.g.,
insurance authorization, IEP or IFSP meetings)
- Attends IEP and IFSP meetings -
- Maintain clinic documentation in a timely fashion, including
daily notes in Raintree, progress reports, and re-evaluations (vary
by funder for SEIS, private pay, regional centers, insurance
companies) - -
- Follows and implements company policies -
- Attends required in-service trainings and company meetings

- Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or
business needsOccupational Therapist Qualifications: -
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy; required -
- Current license** or a limited permit** for license issued by
the California Board of Occupational Therapy as an Occupational
Therapist
- Must have at least 1-2 years' experience in pediatrics;
required
- Must have 1-2 years' experience with feeding; required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English well enough
to perform essential duties and responsibilities; required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Possess sufficient patience and understanding to approach
people and their desired wants and needs. -
- Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with
other
- Must maintain valid and current proof of legal right to drive
in California -
- Successfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening
requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening,
and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to
50 lbs.With 40 programs and service sites spanning several
counties, Momentum is the largest nonprofit provider of direct
support for individuals with developmental and intellectual
disabilities in Southern California.
