Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Director, Operations,
Cardiovascular.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Cardiology Associate Medical Directors for clinical
reviews and peer discussions
Perform daily clinical reviews and provide timely medical
determinations based on evidence-based criteria
Support the development and review of clinical decision guidelines
and maintain awareness of regulatory changes
Required Qualifications
Completed US-based residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in
Cardiology
Board certification as an MD or DO with a current unrestricted
state license
5+ years of clinical practice beyond residency/fellowship
2+ years of managed care utilization review experience
(preferred)
1+ years of direct supervision/management experience
(preferred)
