About this Position:
The Technology Manager as the Deputy CTO is charged with delivering on the portfolio of IT projects in support of the IT Strategic Plan and service opportunities. They are responsible for co-developing the IT strategy and identifying and executing the strategic plans across the IT organization to realize organizational value. The Technology Manager will work closely with Sr. Management and Leadership team members and report on the IT functional portfolio. The Technology Manager will co-develop the IT budget to align with service delivery and the strategic project portfolio, minimizing technology risk and aligning with the service architecture. They will lead across the IT organization creating a high-performing IT team maximizing efficiency with leadership direction. The Technology Manager facilitates the workforce to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in the autonomous and deadline-driven workplace.

The Technology Manager, as a Management Team member, participates in setting the Credit Union's business direction, balancing strong technical competence with business acumen and is an excellent communicator who can effectively identify, define, and deliver on HFCU information technology goals.

Responsibilities include:
* Leadership and accountability for information technology strategy delivery
* Information technology workforce talent acquisition and staff development
* Reporting on IT strategy and project portfolio
* Budget preparation and plan development for the information technology service architecture
* Ensuring information technology related service delivery across the IT function


Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
* 10-15 years of experience in Administration of Information Systems and Technology with increasing level of responsibility throughout, preferably within a financial institution
* Understanding of business technology, key providers, industry direction, trends, and life cycles
* Working experience with financial regulation frameworks and information technology compliance
* Knowledge of core and key other financial processing systems
* Keen business acumen and proven senior manager abilities
* Implementation of policies, standards, and controls
* Familiarity with consumer privacy and financial industry compliance requirements
* Delivery of business technology roadmap

Required Education:
* Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 10-12 years of comparable experience including a management role in Information Technology
* Master's degree in computer science or information Systems is highly desirable
