Job Summary: VP of Business Development
- Establishes objectives within the market by identifying key
organizations, researching, and analyzing these organizations;
understands current and future market trends for key
organizations.
50% travel
- One of the key position objectives is to identify and qualify
potential clients with the goal of setting up face to face meetings
to propose engagements.
- Follow up and close leads
- Develops strategy by identifying, researching and analyzing new
and existing -clients, -understanding current and future market
trends for the industry in the assigned region.
- Establishes objectives by forecasting and developing sales plan
for assigned -territories and -projecting expected sales
volume.
- Develops relationships with targeted clients by facilitating
-introductions, -building rapport through additional contact,
arranging /attending business events, and participating in industry
functions.
- Services targeted clients by conducting sales calls to establish
an understanding of the account's business strategies and
organizational structure, as well as to position Menemsha's
capabilities.
- Customizes Menemsha's services for clients by adjusting and
focusing the sales efforts to targeted client's business needs.
- Increases business by developing broad and deep, long-term
relationships within the client's organization.
- Compiles and submits information on specific client transactions
for preparation of proposals, statements of qualification, etc.
- Acts as client representative to identify and direct
investigation of problems, develop solutions and ensure projects
are delivered as requested by client.
- Keeps management informed by communicating with management on a
weekly/monthly basis about activities/progress within the assigned
region.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information
on pricing, products, market trends, etc.
- Represents Menemsha Solutions at local and national
industry-specific conferences.
- Enhances professional and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops, reviewing professional publications,
establishing personal networks and participating in professional
societies.
- Protects operations by keeping information and plans
confidential.
- Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and
proactive solutions to client's needs.
- Follows all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures,
and Work Instructions applicable to the position and support
Menemsha's quality standards.
- Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all
procedures, rules, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS: -To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,
skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience -Three to five years sales
representative experience in a related field, preferably
construction, architecture/engineering or real estate; proven sales
record of developing and achieving sales objectives; experience
developing and implementing a strategic sales plan; demonstrated
ability to penetrate targeted client accounts and form deep,
long-term relationships with client's organization; working
knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Other Qualifications -Excellent verbal and written communications
including excellent interpersonal skills; highly developed
organizational and time management skills; excellent analytical
skills that synergize the market; ability to work independently and
to perform in a team -setting.
