Description Robert Half is seeking an IT Project Manager.This role is a long-term, multiyear contract employment opportunity with an exciting, technically progressive client based in the Torrance, California area.Role will employ HYBRID workstyle - 1 - 2 days onsite per week in Torrance, CA.Key responsibilities: + Tracks costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met+ Serves as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changes+ Provides administrative support to project managers and project leaders+ Ensures project control systems are in place and integrates project data for decision makers+ Coordinates and works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude major projects. Requirements Requirements:+ 3 to 5 years of IT work experience+ 2 to 3 years managing projects+ Strong ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole+ Strong understanding and ability to manage complex program and project budgets+ Strong ability in implementing program and project plans, monitoring progress, resource usage and quality+ Strong knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified+ Strong understanding of multiple project management disciplines Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do. - Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
