This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing company that distributes globally.Summary of Position:The Account Manager will be part of the Sales team to manage new and existing accounts, work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. This candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, customer and new product onboarding skills, and be able to address multiple levels in the organization. Ultimately, this position will be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships. This position reports to the New Business Development Manager and is located in Torrance, CA.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process new orders and ensure all relevant customer needs are properly communicated to multiple departments.
  • Keep customers informed on the status of their orders.
  • Advocate customer needs to the company.
  • Manage current customer orders, projects, customer and new product on-boarding, and change orders.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure that the details for an order are properly captured.Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 5+ years' experience working as a Sales Account Manager and/or Customer Service Rep.
    • Must be able to set and track sales account targets aligned with company objectives.
    • Understanding of sales and performance metrics.
    • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
    • Proven ability to upsell, deliver projects, and answers inquiries on time.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship management, negotiation, and diplomacy; excellent judgment and integrity.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Education Requirements:
