Job Description:

As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth in new and existing markets and meeting monthly and quarterly sales objectives.


  • Self-source leads, build relationships for referrals
  • Meet outgoing call metrics
  • Manage the sales lifecycle, from inquiry to close of contract
  • Deliver inside and outbound sales pitches of our short-term rental program
    • Work toward increasing sales growth in the territories at an established rate determined by the Executive team
    • Research competitors
      • Learn local regulations and restrictions on STRs, become the industry and local expert
        • Close marketing-generated and self-generated leads
          • Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales
            • Identify and analyze areas within markets to properly direct sales efforts
              • Evaluate and understand market needs; identify and suggest products or services that will meet those needs
                • Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to develop sales strategies
                  • Collaborate with the onboarding and operations team
                    • Utilize CRM and other systems, log and update sales activities
                      • Representing the company at trade association meetings
                      • Attend weekly owner growth meetings
                        • Perform other related duties as required


                          • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field
                          • At least five (5) years of consultative sales experience
                          • At least two (2) years of experience managing and delivering closed contracts
                          • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong presentation skills
                          • Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients
                          • Exceptional sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills
                          • Superior time management skills, combined with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
                          • Comfortable using technology and CRM experience
                          • Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling
                          • Self-motivated with ethical business practices
                          • Sales leadership experience preferred
