Overview
The Jr. ccount Manager will work with public entity insurance
pools, primarily Community College Districts, providing customer
care and administrative support. The position will manage a variety
of projects and tasks involving the operations of these pools. This
person will be the primary point of contact and be responsible for
developing strong customer relationships to ensure timely results
and overall client satisfaction.

employees. The Jr. Account Manager will work with public entity
insurance pools, primarily Community College Districts, providing
customer care and administrative support. The position will manage
a variety of projects and tasks involving the operations of these
pools. This person will be the primary point of contact and be
responsible for developing strong customer relationships to ensure
timely results and overall client satisfaction. Here's what you'll
be working on: The Jr. Account Manager supports a minimum of three
accounts. You will be responsible for: - Prepares minutes and
agendas, reports and relevant documents to assure timely
distribution and postings - Coordinates meetings and conferences
including: securing meeting locations and scheduling hotel stays
and catering - Travels to meetings and interacts with clients -
Coordinates all off-site meeting activities, and takes minutes (in
accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act requirements, when
applicable) - Maintains and oversees task lists developed from
meetings as they pertain to assigned clients - Coordinates New
member Orientation training if needed - Creates, updates, and
maintains files and records including client websites - Initiates
timely state filings for Statement of Facts, contractual
agreements, and conflict of interest - Develops and maintains
relationships with clients, prospects, and outside vendors. -
Responds in a timely manner to requests from clients, and internal
depts. - Performs and oversees industry accreditation process -
Prepares and distributes reports, newsletters, client information,
advisories, etc. - Effectively communicates with colleagues with
regard to work assignments, absences, and other matters concerning
the department - Works closely with the JPA Manager to respond to
all client related issues with regards to JPA - Performs other
tasks upon request What makes you qualified? - Insurance industry
background with a focus on Account Management, client interfacing
role preferred - At least one year of Administrative professional
experience in a corporate office setting providing client customer
service - Must have or obtain in first year of employment a
California DOI Fire & Casualty license. - Ability to manage
multiple projects and priorities - there are a lot of moving parts
involving a lot of different people and departments (this also
means you get exposure to many different areas in the company). -
Excellent communication and writing skills. - Strong
problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach. - A drive
to work independently and practice good time-management, with
strong attention to detail. - Strong computer skills, including, MS
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with MS Teams is an added
