Our products have been deployed in every extreme environment on Earth!Our Emerging Technologies Department is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager with hands-on end-to-end electronic design, assembly, integration, and test to join our Emerging Technologies team. This is a hands-on technical position for someone looking for a role as a key contributor on a growing team. This is a hybrid role. This role will be directly responsible for the management of an engineering team. As a technical contributor, you are responsible for developing, selecting, designing, and testing electronics systems for new and ongoing projects, including presenting design trades during internal and customer-facing design reviews.   • Lead, manage and provide technical leadership to the electrical engineering team whose primary responsibility is to develop and transition new technologies out of R&D and into production to enhance our military and aerospace product line.
  • Deriving, developing, and documenting detailed electronics design, prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting to meet system specifications and user/customer requirements.
  • Generate electrical/electronic proposal estimates for design, integration and checkout, installation, and test.
  • Prepare documentation to meet internal and contract requirements, including reports that meet Intellisense standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by preparing documentation, technical reports, and presentations at meetings.
  • Interface effectively with people at all levels from diverse backgrounds.
  • Conduct and lead meetings with our customers, subcontractors, and vendors.What You'll Bring:Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Software, Optics, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering; or related technical field.
    • 6+ years of hardware digital design experience.
    • Demonstrated expertise in high-speed digital custom design and analog.
    • Expertise with PCB design, component layout, and TX/RX Embedded architectures.
    • Experience and capability in generating detailed system/subsystem requirements, test procedures, and analyzing test outputs.
    • Familiarity with ECAD tools for schematics and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD), FPGA tools (e.g., Xilinx ISE, Altium Quartus), Simulation and analytical toolsPreferred:
      • MS EE, Applied Physics, or similar area
      • In the absence of BS, a lesser degree in the above disciplines will be considered if a strong portfolio of domain-specific experience and independent research is demonstrated.Benefits:
