Job SummaryPerforms accounting tasks and maintains financial records. Supervises Accounting Assistant.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivables, Payables and Cash Receipts
  • Review daily transactions
  • Oversee direct bill accounting
  • Trust account payables
  • Payroll
  • Process outside finance agreements
  • Process monthly expense checks
  • Prepare various excel spreadsheets
  • Review integrity of financial records
  • Assist the CFO in month-end closing
  • Supervise accounting staff
    • Requirements and Qualifications:
      • 4 year degree in Accounting
      • 5-7 years experience preferred
      • Pass a background check
      • Previous insurance experience
      • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office 365 products
      • Must be detail oriented
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills.
      • Ability to work within a team.
      • Appropriate business attire required.
      • Operation of office equipment, requiring fine manipulation, including manual dexterity of all fingers, both hands and arms
      • Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
      • Bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and grasping
      • Sitting for extended periods using computer equipment
