Job Description:

Operational Key Account Manager, this is an excellent opportunity
to join our Road Logistics team.Your RoleThe position covers all
aspects of account support for designated specific accounts to
include operational and administrative duties as well as the
onboarding of new accounts. This position will primarily interact
with KN US operational staff at a department manager level while
simultaneously providing specialized knowledge support to
coordinators within department. Required to perform a variety of
duties as outlined in Operational Procedures in support of the
organization's/branch's /divisional export activities.Your
Responsibilities
- Single point of contact for client for all issues related to
SOP, operational and administrative non-compliance matters;
- Primary escalation point for service;
- Create, manage and value projects to be completed for internal
purposes and for the customer;
- Ensure quality service is provided to customer;
- Oversee general operation of the account, inclusive of billing,
FSL, etc;
- Monitor the profitability and productivity of the account;
- Ensures prompt and accurate documentation and invoicing;
- Ensures distribution of information vital to the operations of
the department and the general conduct of the business;
- Ensure the efficient outbound/inbound flow of U.S. goods by
managing and implementing process improvements;
- Maintains lines of communication with international operations
contacts, if/when applicable, and local customers;
- Configure the reporting process of KPIs to client (BO vs.
Login, metrics, standardizing, etc.) in close cooperation with
client solutions team;
- Negotiate cost effective rates with service providers to ensure
maximum profitability;
- Create and maintain customer profiles for KN Login;
- Create, maintain and communicate/train coordinators on
requirements of the SOP;
- Ensure compliance of data quality, timely acceptance of vendor
/ebillings, billing to customer and timely/accurate closings of
shipment files in the FSL;
- Maintain on going knowledge on procedural and/or regulatory
changes as well as information published on the company's
intranet;
- Maintain lines of communication with upper management, to
include: departmental issues/needs or any administrative issues,
department performance, etc. Additional responsibilities may be
given in accordance with supporting a specific department/division
and/or employee may be tasked with specific, individualized
assignments.Your Skills and Experiences
- 5-8 years' experience in Freight Forwarding Operations /
Customer Service / Sales / performance management;
- MS products such as Excel, Power Point, Word;
- Ability to speak / interact well with internal and external
individuals;
- Project management experience;
- Strong verbal and written communication;
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities;
- Experience working with rates/tariffs;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, prepare,
