Job DescriptionMomentum is hiring a Regional Director of Program
Services (DPS). The Regional DPS will be directly responsible for
the administration and day-to-day operations of Momentum services
for our Pediatric Therapy Network in accordance with best
practices, policies, and procedures. The Regional DPS ensures
compliance with licensing interpretive guidelines and applicable
state and federal laws and regulations, including labor laws and
requirements of regional centers and licensing agencies. As the
Regional DPS, you will develop, implement, and/or amend program
designs as required. The Regional DPS is responsible for ensuring
program operations are cost effective, promoting positive outcomes,
and overseeing the health and safety of all people receiving
services. The Regional DPS acts as a Momentum ambassador and
effective liaison between the people receiving services, families,
the community, and other agencies such as regional centers and
other regulatory agencies.Benefits:

Essential Responsibilities:
- Actively partner with the Executive team, including Program
Directors, to ensure clinical standards and practices are adhered
to
- Work proactively with Human Resources department to recruit,
hire, train, and supervise local administration
- Provide supervision and coaching to the local administration;
assist the local administration in providing supervision and
coaching to staff as needed
- Assist local administration and other key staff in managing
serious concerns and oversee related communication
- Provide 24/7 ongoing support to local administration and senior
clinical staff, as needed
- Work with local administration to ensure appropriate staffing
and ongoing training is taking place in all program locations
assigned
- Oversee development and maintenance of workforce management
systems (scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll); oversee
departmental payroll responsibilities
- Partner with local administration to ensure a comprehensive
resident record information system
- Oversee the review and process of Individual Service Plans
(ISPs), semi-annual reports, Special Incident Reports (SIRs), and
Adult Protective Services (APS) Reports; conduct follow-up as
needed
- Work with CPO, Finance Team, and local administration in budget
development, fiscal monitoring, and timely completion of related
documents
- Ensure homes are well-maintained and in compliance with
regulation in coordination with Momentum Property Manager and
maintenance staff
- Work collaboratively with members of the Senior Management Team
to make decisions and build systems which demonstrate integrity and
consistency in practice and use a person-centered approach
- Effectively solve problems and consistently choose courses of
action which result in beneficial outcomes to the people we serve
and the organization
- Demonstrate a positive outlook that is open and supportive of
others and the agency; work cooperatively with others to establish
positive working relationships throughout the organization
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all
stakeholders
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or
business needsDirector of Program Services Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related discipline;
required
- Master's degree in a Human Services related field;
preferred
- Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California
and proof of insurance; required
- Program certification in First Aid and CPR; preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in Human Services or
similar industry
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience managing
employees
- Experience working with people with special needs;
preferred
- Experience with service design, development, and
implementation; preferred
- Experience with program administration and budgeting;
preferred
- Experience with regional centers, licensing, and other
agencies; preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the use of the
Internet for research, in addition to the ability to learn and
utilize other applications; required With 40 programs and service
