They guide medical innovations to market and create healthier futures. Currently seeking a Market Access Director, Agency of Records to join this team. YOU:

  • 5+ years Payer/Brand Marketing experience
  • Team leadership - cross-functional at a minimum
  • Market Access experience
  • Executive presence, ability to command a room
  • Internal pharma experience is a plus
  • Success within a consultancy firm is a plus
  • Neurology, autoimmune or oncology experience is a plus
  • Client-facing experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated success within the consulting environment or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
  • REMOTE ROLE BUT MUST LIVE CENTRAL OR EASTERN TIME ZONE The Market Access Director - AoR, under the general direction of the AoR service line lead and on behalf of clients, this active, hands-on role maintains and grows strong client relationships with assigned brands, leads product payer strategy development, drives innovative managed markets initiatives, and leads internal teams to ensure the quality of deliverables and interactions with assigned clients. Ensures projects are successfully completed at a very high level, both on time and budget for assigned clients. Qualified candidates will possess strong leadership, critical thinking, and client management skills. This individual must also be able to lead in a matrixed, team-oriented environment where all team members take responsibility for the quality and validity of deliverables from project initiation through completion. This role requires experience in the biopharmaceutical industry (client or consulting side), payer account management, and strategic payer marketing. Depending on the candidate's experience, this role may be filled at a Director or Senior Director levels; roles and responsibilities will adjust accordingly. - RESPONSIBILITES:
    • Providing leadership and serving as primary contact for assigned clients through project execution and delivery. By delivering at the highest quality, you will help to grow our existing business and identify new opportunities
    • Partnering with overall ABC counterparts to identify, develop, and pull-through new business opportunities in assigned accounts
    • Leading client capabilities presentations, identifying and proposing staffing for new business opportunities
    • Training and developing internal staff as needed, serving as an active leader and mentor to immediate team and other associates at the company
    • Interfacing with clients developing relationships, while providing on-going strategic insights and direction during client meetings and through development of deliverables
    • Acting as strategic oversight lead, providing clear guidance and managing client expectations as well as internal team direction
    • Maintaining an onsite presence with client as needed to effectively manage account, develop relationships, and lead associated projects
    • Working collaboratively with market research, reimbursement, creative, health outcomes/scientific, and global teams to leverage the company's broad expertise -
    • Ensuring team is staffed appropriately to accomplish objectives within budget allocated
    • Designing, implementing and delivering on a variety of project types, including but not limited to:
      • Commercialization and market access strategy development
      • Healthcare trend identification and impact analyses across the product lifecycle
      • Global payer/HTA market research
      • Brand planning engagements
      • Value proposition creation (for client products to payers and providers)
      • Message testing/payer market research
      • Field force tools development and training (i.e., account manager tool kits)
      • Account executive sales aids (both payer and provider)
      • Digital marketing / sales aids
      • Reimbursement and landscape assessments
      • Market research including ad boards, focus groups and MCN events
      • Market segmentation analyses
      • Account strategy
      • Pricing and contracting strategy
      • Commercialization strategy
      • Push- and pull-through strategy
      • Maintaining overall responsibility for team performance and deliverables produced REQUIREMENTS:
        • BS/BA required, advanced degree preferred (PharmD, MBA)
        • Depending on level, minimum of 5-7 years of experience in payer or brand marketing within the pharmaceutical industry or a pharmaceutical AoR---
        • Structured and well organized, with a proven ability to simultaneously handle multiple workstreams with varying degrees of complexity and time constraints
        • Demonstrated success within the consulting environment or pharmaceutical industry
        • Significant knowledge base of brand planning, managed markets, reimbursement, and/or health economics
        • Ability to interact with and uncover and/or develop client needs to drive new business
        • Exceptional writing skills as well as the ability to communicate complex material in presentations and discussions in a clear and compelling manner
        • Strong presentation skills for both internal and client communications
        • Strong interpersonal skills in order to develop sound, long-term client relationships and an ability to influence clients without being overbearing
        • High emotional intelligence to professionally lead, develop, and mentor associates in a positive manner
        • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, successful consulting firm, which maintains high quality standards and demands excellence
        • Willingness to travel to client sites (assume 25-50% of time)
