About this Position: - Developing and executing product and business strategy in a world of rapid technological and social change requires a highly capable, highly knowledgeable, and highly engaged team. CASE and Energy Business Development is tasked with navigating the path for Honda's future Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric, and Energy products, services, and businesses. The team will focus on building and sustaining Honda's core brand values and enhancing brand image and competitiveness in the marketplace by innovating, incubating, selecting, developing, applying, and operating new businesses, features, products, and services with responsibility for their profitability, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction for Honda in North America. This senior engineering role is responsible for technical and business decisions and leading teams who are researching, developing, and applying new CASE and Energy solutions in the market, and informs and is accountable for the technical competence of the strategies that are developed social change requires a highly capable, highly knowledgeable, and highly engaged team. CASE and Energy New Business Operations is tasked with navigating the path for Honda's future Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric, and Energy products, services, and businesses. The team will focus on building and sustaining Honda's core brand values and enhancing brand image and competitiveness in the marketplace by innovating, incubating, selecting, developing, applying, and operating new businesses, features, products, and services with responsibility for their profitability, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction for Honda in North America. Responsibilities include:

• Lead technical Telematics area including the investigation of new items, planning of strategies, and troubleshooting of in-market situations, resulting in positive plans that affect both NA and GO direction and success.
• Assist CEB activities for telematics involving the technical integration with services, connectivity, and data. The results include best aligned solutions for the NA market and carriers.
• Research, create, and align the OTA policy for the NA market while including the 4MOC, HM, HDMA, and AHM related teams, resulting in best alignment of our business and technical directions to the new and updated platforms.
• Assist with key challenging areas of business that overlap with technical, business, and customer operations to provide solutions that balance across the key objectives and still meet the team goals.
• Assist with telematics activities to maintain the current connectivity solutions and preserve our quality for the customer and company, resulting in a continuous improvement and high-quality mindset for our teams. Who we are seeking: Required Work Experience:
  • 7 + years experience with telematics technology
  • 5+ years experience in automotive telematics or infotainment solutions
  • 5+ years experience working with automotive OEM connectivity solutions
  • 3+ years experience of leadership of connected/telematics projects and solutions
  • 3+ years of experience with OTA solutions and technology for automotive and similar systems Required Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Political Science with technical experience Desired skills:
      • Strong proficiency with MS Office is required, especially PowerPoint and Excel
      • Strong presenter and confident interacting with all levels of management and executives
      • Excellent teamwork skills for both North American and Global offices and employees
      • Driver's license required and ability to operate a diverse assortment of automobiles. Proficiency with manual transmission preferred but not required
      • Function in an agile project team as a product owner / LPL, Scrum Master, ALPL, or person in charge of a functional area for a project Additional Position Factors:

          • Competitive Base Salary: $77,800 to $116,700 - Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
