(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A 1099 contract opportunity is available for a skilled
Sign Language Interpreter with experience in telehealth services,
supporting educational environments. This position is based in
Wilmington, DE, providing essential communication assistance to
students and educators remotely. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate
clear and effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing
students and educational staff via telehealth platforms. Interpret
spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa
during virtual classroom sessions and meetings. Collaborate with
educators to ensure accessibility of instructional materials and
participation. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all
communications. Adapt to various telehealth technologies and
troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed. Desired
Qualifications: Proficient in American Sign Language and skilled in
interpreting in educational settings. Experience with telehealth
platforms and remote interpretation. Strong understanding of
educational terminology and environment. Excellent communication
skills and cultural competency. Ability to work independently and
manage scheduling effectively. Previous contract or 1099 experience
preferred. Location: Wilmington, Delaware (Remote telehealth
