across the mobility ecosystem. Job Overview The Director of
Compliance will lead and sustain a comprehensive compliance
framework that mitigates risk, ensures regulatory adherence, and
supports operational effectiveness. This role oversees compliance
across all aspects of the property and casualty insurance business
and serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on evolving
regulatory requirements and enterprise risk. The ideal candidate is
a proactive leader who can assess risk, establish governance, and
foster a culture of compliance across the organization. The
Director of Insurance Compliance reports to the VP of Insurance
Product Management. Essential Functions Design, implement, and
manage the Compliance Program to ensure adherence to all federal,
state, and local regulations governing property and casualty
insurance. Monitor regulatory developments and provide timely,
actionable guidance to senior leadership regarding new laws,
regulatory changes, and emerging compliance risks. Conduct periodic
compliance risk assessments across product, underwriting, claims,
and distribution functions, and implement effective mitigation
strategies. Research applicable laws and regulations and develop
policies, procedures, and internal controls to reduce compliance
exposure across all business lines. Lead additional strategic
initiatives as assigned by senior leadership. Perform other related
duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a
related field. At least 5 years of compliance experience within the
property and casualty insurance industry. In-depth knowledge of
insurance regulations, including state insurance codes, NAIC
standards, and applicable federal requirements (e.g., GLBA, HIPAA,
TCPA). Strong understanding of the commercial and personal auto
insurance product lifecycle, from underwriting and policy issuance
through claims handling. Demonstrated ability to assess enterprise
risk, develop compliance strategies, and lead cross-functional
initiatives. Exceptional communication and presentation skills,
with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership,
regulators, and employees. Proven ability to work both
independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving
environment. Legal authorization to work in the United States
without sponsorship. Office Location Torrance, CA - Hybrid (Tuesday
and Thursday in office). Remote options may be available for
candidates living outside the LA Metro teleworking area.
Compensation For California based hires, the annual salary range is
$150,000 - $180,000 depending on experience plus performance-based
incentives. FLSA Job Status is Exempt. Benefits of Working with Us
