Job Description:

A company is looking for a Financial Counselor to assist patients with financial matters related to healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities

Discuss and resolve financial matters with uninsured and underinsured patients, including making payment arrangements
Administer the Charity Care Program and conduct insurance eligibility and coverage verification
Document financial counseling efforts and prepare financial reports to support charity care initiatives

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
3-5 years of experience in billing, coding, or insurance verification
