About this Position: -

"Total quality mindset" and effective "corporate social responsibility" are two key corporate goals of AHM. - This job contributes to these goals by enabling the Tax Department to accurately report and pay its income tax liabilities to various income tax authorities and to accurately report on income taxes in its financial statements for the benefit of internal and external stakeholders. - This position enables AHM to meet its legal and regulatory requirements in order to be a "company that society wants to exist." This position requires significant tax provision and compliance technical subject matter expertise, extensive experience in identifying and resolving complex issues, and superior tax quantitative and reporting skills. The rationale for this position is that it can simultaneously: (a) reduce outside provider fees by in-sourcing areas that require tax technical expertise in areas where AHM pays significant fees; and (b) support finance, insurance, and e-side entities where significant retirements and attrition has occurred among Tax leadership.
