Adecco is assisting with recruiting for a Staff Accountant in Torrance, CA. This is an immediate full-time, direct-hire position. Working hours Mon-Fri 830 am to 5 pm with an annual salary of $70K- 80K DOE.Click on Apply NOW to be considered.Job Summary & Responsibilities:

• 90% Staff accounting experience (AR, AP, GL).
• 8% Office administrative (HR, insurance, payroll, etc).
• 2% Support services (shipping, inventory, etc).Accountant Skills and Qualifications
• Perform Accounting cycle duties with broad knowledge of AP, AR, GL, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
• Generate and track financial statements for analysis.
• Capability to review financial statements; identify and correct errors.
• File and remit taxes.
• Proficient analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and with accuracy; positive interpersonal and communication skills.Required Education and Training
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Comprehension of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) rules and procedures.
• Two plus years of relevant hands-on accounting experience.
• Investigative nature to track errors back to the source for accuracy.
• Proven Intermediate to Advanced Excel.
• Experience with an accounting ERP system (i.e. Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle or other).
• Accurate financial reporting and recordkeeping skills.What's in this for you?
