Description
Directs the provision of the nursing education and staff development function for Little Company of Mary Service Area. Interprets the philosophy, strategic goals and policies of the organization and incorporates into the education function. Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational activities and the staff development in support of the Mission Statement and Core Values of Little Company of Mary Hospital. Activities will focus on advancing clinical quality and patient safety in patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  Master's Degree
  
  
• 
  Coursework/Training: Graduate preparation in Adult Education.
  
  
• 
  Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
  
  
• 
  Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  
  
• 
  Five years: Acute hospital experience in clinical area.
  
  
• 
  Three years: Recent experience in program development and education.
